Come join the fun as we draw and paint mandalas.  “Mandala” means “circle,” and it has been used in healing, meditation, and decoration for centuries.  You will find them painted on doors, entrances of houses,

walls, and hung as art in museums.

Materials:  You will paint your mandala on ready-to-hang canvas.  The materials we will use are bowls, plates, and bottle caps to draw the circles.  The paints are colorful acrylics, and if you want, you can add glitter, crystals, and angel dust for a sparkling effect.  Your materials are included in the cost of the workshop.

Class Description:  You will begin painting from the center of the canvas and move outward, which is symbolic of the journey of life. At the conclusion you will have created your own personal mandala, which can become the symbol of your spiritual journey. No art experience is necessary.

About your instructor:  Karla is an artist and studies mandala painting with the renowned artist, Paul Heussenstamm in Los Angeles.   Karla’s art website is at karlabecker.com
